ORGANIC TRACKS...RIPE FOR THE PICKING:
Organic Tracks is a radio show featuring acoustic-based music, with a unique blend of emerging and established adult album alternative artists.
The program will be available to stations starting in early 2017.
- A two-hour radio program, including some hard-to-find acoustic and unplugged versions from many of the world's finest artists.
- An artist is featured each week as the "Organic Pick" with music, sound bites and interesting bio info.
In addition to his role as Host and Executive Producer of Organic Tracks, Jeff Parets produces and hosts the Acoustic Storm, an acoustic-rock radio program airing on over 70 Classic Rock and Classic Hits stations throughout the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
Parets was Program Director and Music Director of KSTM ("The Storm") in Phoenix, one of the first Triple A stations in the country. Besides his successful six-year stint with "The Storm," Parets has served as Music Director for some of the best-known stations in Phoenix. At the NPR Phoenix affiliate KJZZ, he won eight broadcast journalism awards, most notably a prestigious national first place from PRNDI (Public Radio News Directors).
"Organic Tracks is an interesting twist on a music show geared towards AAA stations, that might fit on a weekend morning. The show features good hosting and a nice mix of newer artists and acoustic classics."
-Jim McGuinn, Program Director, 89.3 The Current - KCMP Minneapolis, Minnesota Public Radio
"Jeff Parets is a creative music man, that carefully crafts his programs with quality artists and songs. When you listen to Jeff, you learn about the music and the artists that make it.
I just listened to the (Organic Tracks) demo. It's really good! I love the acoustic versions of the songs that were big hits in their day. Very surprising to hear those acoustic versions. Jeff sounds great too, by the way. His voice comes through nicely, and I like the information that he shares, and the way that the breaks are carefully crafted. I think it's a very well packaged and fun to listen to program, and I could easily hear it on public radio."
"Since leaving KJZZ, Jeff Parets has demonstrated his creative abilities with the Acoustic Storm, which is now internationally-syndicated. Jeff is a very talented individual, and his knowledge of music is unbelievable. He was an asset to KJZZ and will be an asset to any organization with which he is affiliated."
-Bill Shedd, Associate General Manager, Operations / KJZZ - Phoenix, AZ
"The key to great broadcasting and in particular, long form radio programming, is to show a passion for both the product one is promoting and the content within that product/program. Jeff Parets possesses a great knowledge of music and the stories behind the artists and the songs."
-Dave Aiken, WKRR - Greensboro-Winston-Salem, NC
"We thoroughly enjoy having Jeff Parets on our programming. No issues whatsoever, Jeff is a pleasure to deal with, and he has a respect for the time crunches we all experience in radioland. His programming is perfect for the weekend, and easy on the ears, mind and soul...the perfect hangover medicine."
-Jay Smith, Program Director / CKXS - Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada
